TOMORROW

     Those photos are not Photoshop generated. I took them with longer exposure time because I wanted to take photos that contain definitive consequential time in a single photo by exposure longer time than usual.

     Visually, they don¡¯t follow the rules of traditional photographers. They are faint, ambiguous in contour so that viewers can barely see the objects, and the backgrounds are almost faded out. This is same kind of attempt that I made when I developed Waiting for the Wind. I wanted to eliminate the volume and weight of the objects. The people, objects and buildings on the street lost substantial weight and seem to float. For this task, I took photos in Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hongkong and New York which places are the cities I lived or frequently visited.
